Mario J. Mario concentrated his practice in closely-held businesses and estate planning for wealthy individuals.  He brings numerous contacts throughout the Northeast and Adirondack region necessary for the successful consummation of real estate transactions.  He is well connected with national, local and regional banks to assist qualified buyers in financing their real estate purchase.  He is also closely connected to numerous business interests and executives, who often seek his advice in buying and selling real estate.  His many years of experience in estate planning and administration results in specific knowledge in purchasing and selling real estate owned in estates, trusts, corporations, partnerships and non-profit entities.

Prior to practicing law in upstate New York, he worked with the international certified public accounting firm Ernst and Young in New York City as a tax consultant. Mario earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Siena College and his Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law.  He is a lifelong resident of upstate New York and the Adirondack region.

Kathleen A. Ratajczak, licensed salesperson for Adirondack Estates Realty, has an extensive background assisting high net worth individuals with their estate plans. As an Estates and Trusts Paralegal with over thirty years experience, Kathy has helped administer thousands of estates and trusts most of which included real estate transactions on a variety of levels including sales, transfers and retitling of real property.

 

Kathy holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Schenectady County Community College in Paralegal Studies and in 2004 continued her education earning a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Finance and Information Technology Management from the University at Albany, NY.

 

Kathy is the Executive Director of the Dominic Ferraioli Foundation, a private foundation which assist’s charities in the Capital District region. She is an FAA certified drone pilot, a licensed New York State Notary Public and is a lifelong resident of upstate New York and the Adirondack region.
